angielski I don't know if I can find out exactly the moment when the refined and clever show became a bombastic display of cheesy masks and self-centered twists, in which the detective serves only as an alibi for developing the increasingly frail story of the central triangle... In any case, I can quite clearly assess (even without the help of a therapist, who, by the way, is needed by the creators rather than the characters) that the symptoms worsen and Sherlock becomes an inconsistent and disintegrated jumble. It is held together only by the would-be eccentric set pieces and the willingness of the fans to go with characters, whose only purpose is to keep hungry/uncritical fans on their toes. Even at the cost that the twists and the world in which they are embedded lose all justification. Bollocks. Compared to this conclusion, Cimrman's The Gale from the Mountains is a masterpiece of plot motivations. ()

angielski It has its undeniable drawbacks (aptly described by many here), but it is also one of the better updates of the original (a neglected short story within the canon that gave rise to one of the greatest detective clichés). This time, it doesn't look like it's unnaturally incorporated into the action, but on the contrary, the whining padding (which works only thanks to the central acting duo) is built around it. The "(non) Sherrinford" conclusion is being heralded from the very beginning of the series. In this, unfortunately, it´s too easy to see Moffat and Gatiss through. ()

angielski Toby Jones is a great villain, but this episode doesn't deserve him. And if you don't find yourself shaking your head at the plan to save John or the revelation of who's who, there's probably nothing wrong with your life, and you can go and teach Zen masters about peace. Yes, I liked Sherlock's drug scenes, and the part with a devastated detective catching up with his own brain, but it seemed like a completely different series. I'm sorry to say I'm looking forward to the last episode of Sherlock mainly because it will be the last. ()

angielski I really don't like such hallucinogenic scenes, I don't enjoy them in movies, series, or games (although I do really like Far Cry), but the biggest disappointment was prepared for me by Marty Hopkirk. I thought that when creators want to kill off a character, they would completely disappear from the story, but no. He appears more often in the picture, a plot is created around him, which is so far-fetched that it's pulling the eyes out of their sockets, and stupidity triumphs over intelligence and cunning. ()

angielski On one hand, I was thinking, "What on earth is this about?", but on the other hand, it was quite clever, or it just seemed so cleverly executed that I fell for the game again. The characters continue to evolve, the cases remain interesting, and Toby Jones was brilliantly chosen as the antagonist. Yeah, this episode was worth it. ()
