Życie Stephanie Plum (Katherine Heigl) nie układa się najlepiej. Nie ma faceta, ani pracy, jej konto świeci pustkami a spod domu właśnie odholowali jej samochód. Całkowicie spłukana i zdesperowana próbuje znaleźć zajęcie, dzięki któremu zdobędzie szybką gotówkę. (Monolith)

angielski A film with the value of used chewing gum. The similar Bounty Hunter was a protracted mess but there was at least some action and a little bit of fun, with attractive enough actors. One for the Money has *nothing*, without a single joke or interesting character. The crime plot is routine and hackneyed. And who had the brilliant idea to cast Katherine Heigl as the lead who is supposed to keep the movie afloat, without any strong male counterpart? Come on! ()

angielski Katherine Heigl has one undeniable advantage. It looks incredibly good on her, whether she is a blonde or a brunette. In the case of the movie "Miss Congeniality" (which can definitely be compared in quality with the similarly sounding movie "Miss Congeniality 2", especially with the second part of this "classic"), she once again chose dark hair and it suits her. However - and this is really very sad - it is the only positive thing I found in the movie. Katherine has a lot of critics who say that she is as capable an actress as a puppet without a puppeteer, but I quite like her. Not only because she is pretty, but also because she appears in movies that I quite liked ("Knocked Up") or really liked ("The Ugly Truth"). However, "Miss Congeniality" doesn't have anything that the mentioned movies have. It doesn't have the essential humor for a comedy, nor does it have the necessary chemistry for a romantic movie. True, this was supposed to be mainly an action movie, but it's not that action-packed and there are some evident attempts at romance. However, Jason O'Mara doesn't have the humor and toughness of Seth Rogen, nor does he have the charisma and charm of Gerard Butler. The film suffers from that. Katherine could handle it on her own, but the script gave her a "partner" who is mainly present in the last few minutes. What's worse, Katherine definitely doesn't look like a people hunter, which is a fundamental flaw that was certainly not helped by the script, which is an extract of bad B-movies. A girl from nowhere is supposed to be rewarded for catching her ex. However, she gets caught up in a slightly bigger game than she expected and it even becomes a matter of her life. But don't worry, she only gets shot in the butt, and only at the very end. The film is not funny, it's not thrilling, it's not romantic. And a movie like that is labeled as an action comedy. Sometimes even as a thriller! Give me a break! More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2012/08/parmeni-krysy-z-temnot-mi-4-blazniva.html ()
