angielski Thorne's second case is better than the first, but the conclusion spoils it. It doesn’t matter that the creators will use the most obvious (and unfortunately the stupidest) conclusion; it doesn’t matter that most of the audience will see it coming from the second episode at the latest. It's how they work with it that matters. After the point has long since become obvious to absolutely everyone, the creators devote another half an hour to artificially prolonging the tension and telegraphing with every shot "beware, there's a punch line, a shocking punch line, that's going to make your jaw drop". Well, it's not going to drop. Luckily, Morrissey, in the lead role, saves the day. To play a charismatic but at the same time naïve and almost "non-criminally" stupid detective in a way that doesn’t come off like a parody is a hell of an achievement. ()
