Homeland's seventh season was clearly the weakest one for me so far. This was partly because the events related to Carrie's illness seem to be the same from season to season, as well as the constant fights between the sisters. The story being set in the United States also had a large share in my dissatisfaction. I was missing an enemy that I could resent. It just wasn’t the same without the Muslims. Not even the Russian menace could save it.
