Currently, it is very common to make crime films that are more humorous than suspenseful. The trend is quite logical. People want to have fun. They want to escape from their daily worries to something that won't burden their minds too much. Such films can be truly interesting. It's enough to approach a classic crime film a little differently and it immediately looks like you're watching something original. For example, William Friedkin used this approach in his film "Killer Joe". An example of such a film is "Naboř a ujeď", which is a straightforward comedy.
