An incredibly uninteresting documentary, from which I learned, among other things, that Otakar Vávra at the age of 100 could not hear well, answered questions mainly with simple sentences, never ate much vegetables, but liked sausages and ham... And then there was something about the fact that he had raised some young filmmakers and that he was good. A film made to celebrate the master's centenary (and today, on the occasion of his death the day before yesterday) certainly did not have to look like this. (17.09.2011)
