Niezwykłe życie Timothy'ego Greena

This is quite a strange movie. If you do not read the summary of the film and you expect an interesting and original drama, you will be upset. This film has a rather strange story, which is a fact that you must accept already during the first few minutes. And if that doesn’t happen, then all is lost. And it didn’t happen for me. I found the premise outright idiotic. I didn’t expect the movie to be as idiotically mysterious as it was. Even the family seemed like from some crazy circus. I wish I could act the way they did sometimes. I wish I could resolve everything in a simple, practical manner that would benefit only myself. And the worst thing about this movie is the fact that I didn’t understand any message this was supposed to have, not even a little. Nothing, nada, zilch. This is just a nonsensical idea filmed quite well, that’s all. (15.08.2013)

Cindy (always beautiful Jennifer Garner) and Jim (Joel Edgerton) are a married couple who have been trying for a baby for a long time. However, they find out that the natural way will not be the solution they can use in their case, they will have to look for other options. But even other paths do not seem viable. So one evening, when they have really had enough, they write down everything about how their child should look, what it should be able to do, how it should behave. They put it all in a box, which they bury in the garden of their house. Then suddenly it starts raining. Amazingly, something starts coming out of the ground!
