George nie przykłada się do niczego – nawet do plastyki, jedynego przedmiotu, który go interesuje. Większość czasu spędza na wagarach, olewa bal maturalny i wybór college'u. Pewnego dnia przypadkowo poznaje Sally – piękną, popularną dziewczynę. Bierze na siebie winę, kiedy przyłapują ich na paleniu w szkole. Od tamtej pory Sally i George są nierozłączni. Chodzą razem na imprezy, do muzeów. Zostają przyjaciółmi, ale George szybko się zakochuje. Niestety nie wie, jak wyznać dziewczynie swoje uczucie. W międzyczasie poznaje Dustina, który powoli staje się dla niego wzorem do naśladowania. George postanawia zostać artystą, jak Dustin, i marzy, że Sally będzie jego muzą. (Imperial Cinepix)

Just like The Perks of Being and Wallflower, this is an incredibly feel-good movie which will leave you feeling all warm and fuzzy inside. The did go a little overboard with all those cool philosophical questions and attitudes at the beginning. But over time, especially when Emma Roberts is on the scene looking gorgeous as always, it sets a great mood and the movie flows at a nice pace. The script is interesting, and a lot of teens will identify with it, but the ending turns out to be a classic cliché. I knew what I was in for when I decided to watch a romantic comedy, though. It may not be a memorable movie for me, but it created a positive vibe.

An incredibly pleasant American summer indie movie, which you will only find likeable if you can cope with Freddie Highmore, who is a well-known smart-ass. You see, his character is a crazy intellectual, who lives in his own world according to his own rules and who cares about nobody else. The whole thing is saved by a strange Emma Roberts, whom I enjoy seeing in every movie where she makes an appearance. So, people say that she is annoying, but I definitely don’t have a problem with her, quite the contrary, she is very pleasant to look at. Let’s see if we get to see her in a bigger movie.
