angielski Tom Story is not exactly an author who made a name for himself with any remarkable films. His career is primarily associated with the duo of "Fantastic Four" films, which were not particularly well-received by critics. Let's face it, he turned a great superhero team, which used to be Marvel's flagship, into a pseudo-comedic epic. In the film "Think Like a Man," we see a different Story, a Story who directs a romantic comedy, relying almost exclusively on African-American actors, which would almost suggest an attempt to revive the blaxploitation genre. However, the film is nothing more than a fairly good comedy that amuses with a few good lines. It's nothing exceptional, it just tries to bring somewhat interesting fates of the characters, but with the expectation of a happy ending for everyone, because otherwise it wouldn't work. It is imposed on them, because according to American rules, romance should not end any other way. Several stories are played out here based on the premise that one man wrote a book describing how women should really behave with men. And so even the biggest losers have a chance that a woman will actually stay with them. It is only necessary to follow a few rules. Like, for example, to date him for the first 90 days and then allow sex. The film is interspersed with quotes from the book, it has its narrator, but even though the two hours are fairly well-directed, I still felt that there was a bit too much going on and that the film didn't have as much to offer. The happy endings didn't touch me in any way, it was more of an expected obligation. More: http://www.filmovy-denik.cz/2012/09/jeden-den-jak-porodit-oliver-twist-wall.html ()
