angielski Well, this was bad-ass. I am immediately going to tune my Internet receivers to find out a bit more about Sabine Kuegler. This movie brings a great experience from a world unknown even today. Only a fool could come to Papua New Guinea in the late 1970s with their whole family and think that the visit will be fine and without any problems. And I think that daddy Kuegler may have been such a fool, because a normal individual definitely wouldn’t just send his family, including his wife and three kids, among cannibals. I was really surprised by the way the producers handled the whole premise and prepared an incredibly humane story that really isn’t bad but rather interesting. As an example, I give you the cat, which one of the kids brought to the island with them, to which nothing happened through the duration of the movie. The movie isn’t about the fear that the Papuans will eat the family but rather about what the family experiences with them. And thanks to a number of wonderful ideas, beautiful shots, and unbelievable moments comparing the Western world with the local life, the movie deserves nothing less than a five-star rating. A beautiful movie with no less beautiful music! Seen at the Německá filmová pavlač movie festival! ()
