After all, Rob is like most of us, who drown in nostalgia, who sometimes get nervous, who make unintended mistakes, who think about what they would do differently and ponder the reasons for breakups. This film is filled to the brim with life truths, and for that, I forgive it even the few extended conversations about music. And even in thoughtful melancholic comedies, one can have an uncontrollable fit of laughter, just when Tim Robbins appears. "So it's agreed?"
