angielski “I want to be the Willy Wonka for perverts.” I should rewrite my review of Chewed Up, because THIS is Louis C.K. in perfect form. From the beginning, when he briefly and clearly establishes the rules of the game with the audience, to necrophilia, masturbation, the cult of celebrity (“being a professional asshole”) and training kids in market capitalism by playing Monopoly, to a scatological story from his childhood, smoking weed and a talk about pussy. Though Louis does everything he can to ensure that a reasonable person will not take him as a role model, his capacity for self-reflection – thanks to which he is able to realise in time that he has stepped over the line, and thanks to which his own ego is the least sacred of all to him (at least outwardly) – could serve as inspiration for those who are conversely offended by society as a whole, with the exception of themselves. It’s obvious in this performance that Louis is better prepared (no long pauses, a lot of polished similes such as “You’re Jane Fonda on a tank. I’m John McCain in the hut’) and that he edited it himself, so there are practically no dull spots.  When the cadence of the jokes started to decline and the circling around one particular topic became disproportionately long, he wrapped it up. 85% ()
