angielski From a romantic point of view, one could say that it is a slightly above average two-part OVA. Some scenes (the balcony, the festival, the ending) are charmingly romantic. In terms of the narrative, it has to be said that the ideas in it and the execution are quite good. However, I would say that cramming everything into a two-part OVA makes it feel too rushed and underdeveloped (for example, the subplot concerning Tomo and the pervert or the one with the swimmer). As for the animation, I have to say that I did not have any issue with it as I quite like this art style. The soundtrack was also not too bad, and I really liked the opening especially. As for the characters, the main male protagonist was a little too selfless and too polite for my taste (he probably would have gained more sympathy from me if he had punched Kaho's father, even though I understand that Kaho just does not like tough guys). Kaho was kind of that classic fragile little flower you are afraid to pet lest you damage her, cute and overly sweet. However, together with Kotaro, they made a good couple, and as I wrote, their love story is believable, and they actually suited each other. The supporting characters were also quite interesting; the best were probably Ai and Ligene (I was sorry I did not get to know Ligene more.) To sum it up, it is not a bad romantic drama at all, it just feels too rushed and it does not have enough depth due to the short running time. To be honest, it was quite lacking and not as good as the best and strongest anime productions in that genre of romantic drama. 6.7/10. ()
