In 1969, the political situation in Italy was complicated. There were even a few bombings. Although the culprits still have not been tracked down, someone has made a film about the investigation and the obscuring of the truth at the highest levels... A film with thirty characters of varying political creeds and degrees of importance relation to the incident, about whom, however, we will learn nothing from the human perspective. Which makes me – a viewer not interested in Italian postwar history – ask what such a film, particularly one of only average quality, has to offer me?
