A tragic car accident links the lives of a struggling writer (James Franco), his long-suffering girlfriend (Rachel McAdams), a grieving mother (Charlotte Gainsbourg) and a publisher´s assistant (Marie-Josée Croze), in this intricate and beautifully shot 3D drama from master director, Wim Wenders. This is a film that has something to say, but unfortunately, it delivers it in a way that can tire you out pretty quickly. Wim Wenders is a capable director, and James Franco acts brilliantly, as does my favorite, Charlotte, but even their performances weren't enough to make me enjoy this tragic story with hope in the background.
