Beautiful Rain

Cute, sometimes sad, sometimes hilarious. A story with both bad decisions and good ones (but they usually came after the bad decisions didn't work out). It's a story about a man who has Alzheimer's, loves his daughter more than anything, but knows he won't be there for her much longer. It could have been sadder, but thankfully (?) the filmmakers didn't push too hard and I didn't shed a single tear – I was only a little "bummed". I couldn't really put myself in the characters' shoes. It was more like I was watching from the outside and was very uninvolved. It's hard to say if that's appropriate for a show like this... I guess it was the many uninteresting scenes. I'd instead recommend the Korean film A Moment to Remember for this topic. This is in a completely different category. (22.09.2012)
