An enjoyable undemanding comedy, but to be better it would have needed more room for Louis de Funès, his chauffeur Christian Marin (later Gendarme Merlot) and his insecticide that puts even a big man to sleep (this is probably the funniest scene in the whole film), and less theatrical shenanigans. In short, to ideally resemble, say, The Exchange Student. "Beauminet! Beauminet... Beauminet!" - "I'm glad we didn't go there."
