Of course, my big mistake was thinking that it's enough for a series to have actors you like. It’s not. I’m three episodes in, and not a single one of them has impressed me: the performances are mediocre, the characters too – nothing you haven’t already seen from the Japanese. Except that in these three episodes the series still has yet to offer anything substantial – it’s all still so flavorless and bland, I'm not enjoying watching it at all. For me, after three episodes it's over, goodbye Summer Rescue. It would hardly make two stars, but since I've only seen a third of the series, I won't rate it. If you like a bit of doctoring under "cramped" conditions, enjoy mountains and their dangers, or consider Mukai or Ono Machiko or any of the rest of their crew worth watching a series for, go for it. But for me it had no flavor, it was just bland and grey... ()
