Death for Sale

Three friends—Malik, Allal and Soufiane—scrape by as petty thieves in Tétouan, a city nestled between the sea and an imposing mountain. One day they decide to take control of their destiny by robbing a jewelry store. Soon their motivations diverge and set the men against each other. Malik, 26 and unemployed, is madly in love with Dounia, a prostitute at a local nightclub. For him the heist means he'll be able to save her. 30-year old Allal is the tough guy—big and strong, he doesn't get why Malik is in love with Dounia. He's in it to kick-start a career in drug trafficking. Then there's 18-year-old Soufiane, who's still in high school but skips all his classes except sports. He's quick, agile, tough and always good for a laugh, but one day his life is shattered. He's set on killing the Christian owner of the shop.
