angielski Spiritual mumbo jumbo!!! Now that is really something that a non-religious person gets about as much enjoyment as a simple village idiot would get from watching the Italian five-act musical mystery play The Passion of Saint Sebastian. What the hell is it? There are always people praying and the saints are hanging around? Yet the beginning looked interesting because watching the struggle against a militant government that is pretty much a faithful parody of the Third Reich was quite interesting, and the idea of a mysterious organization hiding under the banner of something like "Doctors Without Borders" did not seem to be pointless. Well, yeah, however, all sorts of religions, deities, protectors of all kinds of worlds, demons, and eventually all sorts of alien creatures and spirits start getting involved. All this revolves around the main male protagonist, who is the chosen one, an incarnation of Buddha, and who knows what else. They keep appearing before him and advising him on his way, like when the brave little Lemmiwinks went into the recesses of Mr. Slave's digestive system in South Park. Add to that the "great" dialogues and twists, when one simply cannot understand what all the screenwriters are going to come up with and what else they are going to throw into this mess. To make matters worse, it is packed with CGI animation and is not very pleasant, so even the interesting moments, like the car chase, do not look like something I would want to watch. Even so, the dragons were the biggest eyesore; it was CGI garbage at its worst. So what did I actually watch? It is simply a spiritual mumbo jumbo, an advertisement for religion (preferably all of them together), an overblown, and a totally stupid narrative. I am curious to hear what someone who is into different religions, who understands all the surely profound ideas that may have just fallen on the completely barren ground here, has to say about this. Perhaps it is throwing pearls to swine, and you know that swine just do not eat pearls. So personally, this is all awful, even though I have watched much worse and scarier things, and it is true - at least the soundtrack was pretty good. 1/10. ()
