Four Horsemen

War, famine, pestilence, and death – according to Ross Ashcroft’s documentary, each of the four biblical horsemen of the apocalypse has already arrived. Through interviews with various intellectuals from diff erent fields, the film predicts the coming of the capitalist apocalypse. The individual commentaries take a broad look at the central problems faced by today’s society, in particular the global economy, war, and the environment, putting them together into a bleak puzzle of the state of the world.
