Wiedeń, marzec 1998. Dziesięcioletnia Natascha idzie do szkoły. W pewnym momencie, tuż koło niej, zatrzymuje się biały samochód. Kierowca, bezrobotny inżynier Wolfgang Priklopil, wciąga ja do środka i wywozi na obrzeża miasta, do swojego domu. Nie chce okupu – chce, aby dziewczynka stała się jego własnością na zawsze. Pod garażem jest już przygotowana piwnica o wymiarach 2 na 3 metry. W tym pomieszczeniu Natasha spędzi kolejne 8 lat swojego życia. (Cineman)

The story of Natascha Kampusch is itself quite terrifying, so I was curious to see how it was portrayed in the film. I must say, I expected something a bit more disturbing than "3096 Days." The atmosphere must have been truly insane at times, but this film failed to capitalize on that. It depicts something that is definitely not okay, but because of it, you don't really feel that the girl suffered so much. Is it really that difficult to make something that rips your heart out? After all, it is a story based on real events... A documentary about Natascha and her testimony should have had a much more depressing atmosphere.
