The "black sheep" son (Scott Speedman) of a wealthy family meets a young psychiatric patient (Evan Rachel Wood) who's been raised in isolation her entire life. He takes the naive young woman home for his brother's wedding to convince his family that he's finally straightened out his life. She impresses the family with her genuine, if unstable charm. angielski When I realized after a few minutes that I actually saw this movie and that it is actually a remake of the German film "Barefoot" which I gave 85%, I couldn't believe what atrocities the Americans committed in this film. Instead of making a slightly different romance, as the Germans succeeded in doing, this is a classic romance that tries to convince us that everything is much deeper because it's about a jerk and a weird girl. Speedman and Wood brilliantly demonstrate how bad actors they are, because compared to Schweiger and Wokalek, they are absolutely pathetic. They have no depth. This is one of the most shocking things I have seen recently. And I watch B-movies... ()
