angielski Poster tagline: THE TOWERING TERROR FROM HELL!!! A direct sequel to The Amazing Colossal Man, from the same Gordon creative team, his own family. The previous episode ends tragically, with the giant falling from a dam into a raging river after being hit by an anti-tank missile, but – as they say here – his 25m body was never found. Because of this, Joyce, his sister, is convinced that her mutant brother didn't drown, is still alive, and doesn't give a damn about the opinions of others. And she was right. After a food delivery vans began to go missing somewhere in the mountains far away in Mexico, the giant is discovered. How a 25-meter colossus crossed half of the United States to Mexico completely unnoticed and survived there for a year, is something they never address. After the giant is put to sleep with poisoned food, he is taken to an airport hangar in L.A., where ropes can’t stop him, and later (after he's briefly freed and running around the airport in confusion) not even chains. The title of the film (typically) is very misleading. There is no "war" to speak of, unless you count the short "big" finale, when he picks up a bus full of children. The suicide by high tension wires at the end is the only genre curiosity. By the way, there is no need to see the previous episode, because all the key and visual effects scenes are repeated here in flashbacks. Otherwise, compared to the previous part, this sequel is just an add-on, much shorter and with more visual effects. Best scene: Probably the one where the giant, who suffers from amnesia after his injury from the previous episode, tries to remember who he is. While he is tied up, they show slides of his hometown in the hangar, but to little effect. ()
