Opisy(1)

A powerful, true story of two 13-year-old girls; Lea Deutsch — known as the Croatian Shirley Temple, and her dancing partner, Daria Gasteiger. Selling out theatres and praised by critics hailing from both Croatia and Europe, the dancing duo comes face to face with the political realities of World War II. During the Nazi persecution of Jews and the later German nationals' flight from Communists, a dramatic friendship is born through entertainment and dance, but also anxiety. angielski I was very interested in the sad fate of the talented young dancer Lei Deutsch, but unfortunately, I didn't like the way it was filmed. I understand that the filmmakers were trying to portray the events from the point of view of a guilelessly naive girl, so it's all a bit idealized, but that's also why the emotions are gone from the film. Their absence bothered me most when the film dealt with Jewish hardships during the Second World War in Croatia, where Lea spent practically her entire short life. On the other hand, some of the dance numbers were very good, and the storyline about the friendship of two girls in a bad time also worked. I could easily do without the framing of the story with "remembering non-remembrances" by Darija Gasteiger about her long-lost friend. (60%) ()
