James and Lily live off the grid, raising their young daughter in a cocoon of comfort and self-sustainability. I like movies that relate to the fact that life ends as it has existed so far. I especially like them when it's not really about the apocalypse, but about how people behave, how they act, and how their values change. In this regard, "Goodbye World" simply clicked with me, even though the ending is not really my cup of tea. The comedic aspect was dosed perfectly.
