Unnecessarily convoluted sci-fi with the occasional interesting actor in a completely uninteresting role. The main hero is not bad, but not one of those that make the whole film enjoyable. After the final scene, you won't have a sense of fulfillment and it will seem to you that the film just wanted to be smarter than you, but lacked the intelligence for it.
