angielski Bad Country is an average crime film without an original touch. It looks like a made-for-TV production, recycling what we’ve seen a hundred times before. The narrative dynamics are there, but the characters lack more distinctive features. It’s enough if you watch it just once, mainly thanks to Willem Dafoe, who is the most convincing in his role. Matt Dillon seems unsure at first, which turns out to be a possible intention not to show emotions and not to reveal the character’s nature. Tom Berenger’s big mafia boss is questionable. He seemed more like a drunken uncle from a retirement home than a fearinducing villain. A TV film for viewers who like to remember the good old days. ()

angielski Every now and then, actors showcase some absolutely breathtaking acting performances in a movie that’s about as ordinary as a hotdog from a stand that gets fresh supplies about twice a week. And it’s a shame, because Willem Dafoe, Tom Berenger and Matt Dillon straight up became American hicks in this movie and it was a joy to watch. Unfortunately, not even that could save the boredom, mediocrity and the ordinariness of everything else. ()

angielski If it wasn't so average, it would be quite an interesting movie. However, it is just average and doesn't bring much else. The actors are good, their performances convincing just as needed. It's not overly complicated, it's simply about guys who want to do one good thing even though there is a risk they might not survive. It's okay, but nothing great. ()
