Przebojowa i pełna ambicji Šárka (Aňa Geislerová) pracuje w agencji reklamowej. Nie radzi sobie jednak w życiu prywatnym. Kobieta szuka miłości i chciałaby wejść w głębszą relację z Jakubem (Jiří Havelka). Z tym może być problem, bo mężczyzna ma już dziewczynę (Lenka Krobotová). W małżeństwie Milana (Hynek Čermák) nie układa się najlepiej. Jego żona Zuzana (Jitka Čvančarová) wdaje się w relację z drugą kobietą (Jana Kolesárová), a on sam nawiązuje romans z szaloną Emą (Anna Polívková). (HBO)

I can’t say I’m overly enthusiastic by this series. Season 1 was still slightly above average, there were some funny moments, but also a number of disappointing and unconvincing acting performances. However, the quality dropped significantly in Season 2. There was less humor, and it was somewhat cumbersome and unpleasantly predictable. The only constant of both seasons was Hynek Čermák, whose performance was brilliant and entertaining all along.

If all Czech TV series looked like this and all the Czech film productions at least came close to it, even the French would bow down before us. And I’d buy my first TV. Dating, loneliness, needs, complexes and situations both happy and sad, presented with unprecedented grace in terms of both acting and direction. Colorful characters and feelings and uniquely beautiful Prague locations. And the best lesbian massage in the history of cinema! Is Jan Hřebejk really this good? I’d like to give this five stars, but only after watching the other ten episodes.
