angielski I found Mateusz incredibly likable, and I could really empathize with his character. Once again, Polish filmmakers have proven their understanding of their craft. This was a prime example of a story excellently written and even better directed, one that truly resonated with me. Mateusz's fate was perfectly suited for drama if not outright tragedy, yet the creators managed to weave in subtle (but oh so effective) flashes of humor. ()

angielski An extremely touching story of a boy who, as a result of cerebral palsy, lost the possibility of any communication with his surroundings. That's not his only worry, of course, but it seems to be the most significant. Dawid Ogrodnik deserves huge praise for his absolutely convincing portrayal of the role of the handicapped Mateusz. I still can't believe he's actually a perfectly healthy young man. The film does not try to evoke strong emotions at any cost; Mateusz, in his inner world, comments on some situations with a humorous detachment, which lightens the seriousness of the whole problem. Still, I cried a few times. It was partly thanks to the beautiful musical accompaniment, which made the tense moments even more intense. The idea that something like this could happen to me or someone close to me at the very beginning of my life is truly terrifying. (90%) ()

angielski A beautiful movie! It’s hard to try and search for different words. Once again, the Poles have surprised me with a life story that isn’t depressing even though it’s based on a very heavy story. Dawid Ogrodnik’s acting performance as the handicapped Mateusz was so excelled that I haven’t seen such a good one is quite a long time. The entire story that is based on real life events grounds you with the final scene as the credits roll. At that point, you realize just how real and realistic the movie is. There couldn’t be a better-fitting title than Life Feels Good. ()
