System Error

Images of the landscape and man in it stutter, are lost behind defects, the loss of information and white noise, thus becoming a fitting metaphor for the restless region they depict. The basic building block is stone: it appears as a fortress and as hurled anger, in disintegrating images accompanied by the poetry of Israeli poet Yehuda Amichai, which was read 20 years ago when the first peace accord was signed between Israel and Palestine.
