Kurun arkea I

Veikko Laihanen Oy produced as many as eight commission shorts about the two towns Kuru and Virrat from 1955 to 1958, four about each. The first part of the three-part Kurun arkea (Life in Kuru) depicts work. At the end of the 1950s, most of the inhabitants lived off the forest industry. (Tampere Film Festival)
