Osiem obcych sobie osób pewnego dnia budzi się w nieznanym sobie miejscu. Żadna z nich nie wie, jak i dlaczego trafiła do tajemniczego pokoju. angielski After some horrible reviews I was expecting a really big dud, but it wasn’t – though barely. It’s pretty much the same, with a surprisingly more impressive visual stylization than in the first one, some traps and kills are interestingly sophisticated, but unfortunately the final impression is spoiled by a horribly botched ending – you scriptwriters really failed. I won’t watch it again because of it. ()

angielski A very bad sequel to a good first part. The interiors of the Cube look good while they are static, but the moment they start moving that impression is gone. The special effects aren’t good and the collapse of the Hypercube is even worse. The story is a copy of the first part, likewise with the characters (the actors are also very wooden). What ruined everything was the ending, up until then it was at least three-star worthy. ()

angielski When creators of a horror hit say during filming that they have nothing to lose, it's high time to run away. From an average well-shot idea, it instantly becomes nonsensical and over-technologized amateur work in which everything is included and yet nothing is. Instead of unsettling atmosphere of differently colored cubes, it suddenly relies on visual sterility with truly ridiculous traps like a rotating square, and all quantum or spacetime references are briefly mentioned and immediately forgotten. There's no talk of any clever time paradoxes either. Moreover, the characters are just naive puppets who enthusiastically throw themselves into the most suspicious places, and instead of desperation, they have an insanely filmed love number during absolute disorientation so it becomes very clear very soon that this will be judged as a complete failure. angielski I remembered that the "Cube" series disappointed me after the first installment, but I couldn't remember why that disappointment came. Well, now I refreshed my memory and I'm quite scared of the "Cube 2 - Hypercube". It is a movie that greatly ruins what was established in the first film. The second film lacks atmosphere, it lacks the constant tension that accompanies you, and ultimately it lacks the necessary ingenuity, instead becoming a frantic nonsense that will torment you. ()
