After the previous revival, the plot returned to its usual lethargy, so the seventh episode would probably suit viewers with the temperament of a fisherman. The storyline of Bosch's daughter Maddie greatly slowed down the plot, the search for the projectile in the park was downright ridiculous, but otherwise I was satisfied with the outcome. Detectives Moore and Johnson managed to entertain me once again, the search for the enemy within their own ranks definitely didn't bore me, and eventually, there was some action as well. The ninth episode didn't bore me directly, but it didn't impress me either. The pace of the story was low again, the creators probably saved the action for the finale. I have already given up on the atmosphere, so I could only appreciate the progress in the investigation and the black Phantom Irving, who once again reveled in politics. (17.01.2019)

The creators did manage to make the final episode of the fourth season, the atmosphere did not completely meet my expectations, but this time the plot had a decent pace, there was some action, and things were still happening, so I enjoyed myself throughout. I must thank the creators for not making a similar season to the fourth one (or worse). This time I enjoyed the story, it kept my full attention throughout its ten episodes. It did not have its original perfect atmosphere, but the story unfolded at a nice pace, there was enough action and suspense, and even Maddie didn’t get on my nerves. A well-made season. The first episode of the fifth season was definitely not a failure, so I was able to rate it with mild above-average. However, I was a little disappointed that the creators once again decided they could handle the plot better than the original author, and therefore took the story in a different direction. In the fourth season, their similar experimentation backfired, so I'm curious about what to expect this time. In conclusion, I must once again highlight the content of the episode, which TV Prima has blessed us with. By adding a few details, we have been given a complete script of the episode to explore. Compared to the previous episode, I bumped up my rating. Bosch delves into another intricate case and finds himself entangled in departmental drama, a familiar trope that still manages to keep me hooked. It's weird, but this time I would like to focus more on the official content of TV Prima in the comment rather than the episode itself. Even the sixth episode reached the decent quality of its predecessors, which made me happy. But it's different with the content. Since the pilot episode of the series, I had remarks about the too detailed content, and after reading it, there is actually no reason to watch the episode, you already know everything. I would really like to know which idiot is responsible for something like this, as if it wasn't enough that he is a scribbler, he made a whole series of mistakes in his analysis of the sixth episode, so this time feel free to watch, because some things will happen a bit differently. I was initially hooked on Bosch during its first season, but as the seasons continued, I noticed a decline in quality. So, heading into the fifth one, I braced myself for some lackluster episodes. To my surprise, that wasn't the case at all. The creators managed to keep me engaged with a storyline that maintains tension, despite my familiarity with the source material and its likely outcome. I realize myself that my reviews are somewhat predictable, but the creators of the series have once again decided not to bore me and have granted me their standard of the fifth season. In this case, there was a Bond-like action scene, ending with an ophthalmological procedure in a non-sterile environment, and I enjoyed it. (12.09.2020)

In addition to everything that the creators have come up with in the fifth season, there was also an interesting (and fun) court case going on, and forty-five minutes flew by like water in a mountain stream. The dust from the explosion is settling, and I am slowly cooling down and putting the stupidity from the last episode behind me. The sixth season was a nice surprise. I was bracing myself for a drop in quality, which is why I had been putting off watching this series for so long, but fortunately, my concerns were unsubstantiated. The first two episodes weren’t very convincing, but then the story picked up the pace, Hieronymus Bosch showed up in great form, the police progressed in their investigation from evidence to evidence, and I was having a blast. Bosch and his team did a great job this season, and I think Michael Connelly can be rightfully proud of the result. / Lesson learned: Don't be afraid. While I hold Michael Connelly's books in higher regard than their TV adaptations, I won't deny that the series holds its own. The opening episode served as a solid introduction, setting the stage for a new case against a familiar backdrop. I can tell we're in for another dose of gripping police work intertwined with politics. The second episode didn't exactly blow me away. It offered decent entertainment but lacked that extra spark. The parallel investigations chug along, the tension between the power players persists, Irving's political aspirations are still in play, and there was even a brief (yet more realistic) shootout thrown in. However, I just couldn't find that 'something' here that would push me to bump up the rating. / Lesson learned: When the FBI offers you a seemingly fair deal, grit your teeth and bear it. I felt compelled to give this episode an extra star because I sensed more of Harry Bosch, which was lacking in the previous two episodes. With each new episode, the season keeps getting better and better. What initially seemed like another overly dramatic battle against terrorism has transformed into a classic Bosch storyline, especially from the third episode onwards – and the fourth one only solidified this for me. The case is unfolding just the way I like it, with Hieronymus Bosch once again relying fully on his police instincts. The atmosphere is hitting the mark too. Personally, I'd love to see more of Irvin Irving; that character really clicks with me. I wasn't bored for a second; this season kept me thoroughly entertained.
