Happy End?!

Lucca's life has been planned down to the tiniest detail. She will soon go to Harvard, become a successful lawyer and follow her father's illustrious career. Yet Lucca is not exactly excited about his plans. One night, she breaks into SeaWorld to discuss her future with a giant moray eel – and at that moment, her life takes a turn which neither Lucca nor her father would have expected. Lucca is sentenced to community service in a local hospice. There she meets sexy rocker Valeria, and while trying to help her, she becomes an accomplice to the theft of a burial urn, pursued by the mafia and her careerist father. The feature debut of young director Petra Clever, is in many ways a comedy-drama that experiments with both film genres and filming methods. Through her characters, Petra Clever contemplates love, freedom, and death; inseparable parts of our collective life story. (Mezipatra Queer Film Festival)
