After living in the US, Mert returns to Istanbul. During a yacht trip with his girlfriend and their friends, Mert meets Deniz, an attractive young woman who seduces him. However Mert's family and friends disapprove of their relationship. Mert is a well-educated, successful young man who can easily be defined as the role model of his social class. After living in New York and London for several years, Mert decides to return to Istanbul to start a new life close to his parents, especially his mother. His girlfriend and their friends organize a sailing cruise on the Aegean to celebrate his return. The serene atmosphere of the cruise is interrupted by the unexpected stopover of Deniz, a very attractive, liberal young woman - a true free spirit who blatantly seduces Mert. Six months later, Mert finds himself in a fervent relationship with Deniz. The apparent changes in Mert's life and behavior on account of Deniz are observed and disapproved of by his friends and, especially, by his mother. At the beginning, it looks like a cheesy romantic movie. After a while, however, it turns into a pretty good relationship drama that is not afraid of some spicy scenes, which I found a bit surprising, since the movie is from Turkey. But the best thing about the movie was the young Turkish dude who was cheating on his wife and who was working really hard to cover everything up. I’m not an ill-wishing person, but it was really a joy to watch him tackle all this.
