A French fugitive and former pilot (Jean-Louis Trintignant) heads to Canada, because he is followed by Gypsies, who believe he caused the death of their loved ones and they want to revenge. When he finally manages to escape from them, he becomes a witness of murder. He ends up joining a special gang of desperate criminals, who prepares the kidnapping of crimelord's retarded daughter. However, things don't go quite as planned when she accidently dies. Despite this event they decide to keep on till they can and things are fine. (oficjalny tekst dystrybutora)
