When you take two great actors and put them in a film that's supposed to open your eyes and make you cry at all costs, you really feel like crying, but not because the film is moving, but because of the tragedy and how much it wants you to bear the terrible weight of the world. I can't help but feel that this is disgustingly superficial and actually about nothing, and the romance is unnecessary.
