Sam Rockwell, Anna Kendrick and Tim Roth were the main attraction for me to watch this absurd gangster comedy. Despite my initial misgivings, it was thanks to them and a few funny situations that I ended up having a good time. Although, let's face it, this is a real piece of nonsense. (70%)

After the first fifteen minutes, I thought I would boo the film, but then I turned off my logical thinking and realized that the filmmakers just wanted to have some fun. The moment I gave up on my expectations of logical continuity, the film started working surprisingly well. I could just chill and actually ended up having a pretty good time. Let me sum it up: it was terrible but entertaining. 3*+

I was expecting a good comedy and that's what I got. Anna Kendrick is a favorite of mine, and I also love the theme of hired killers, which isn't portrayed here as originally, but it boasts extremely original elements; even the dancing is murderously cute. It's properly crazy, and surprisingly, Sam and Anna fit together incredibly well. RZA has a great role as well.
