The British production World War Dead: Rise of the Fallen is a typical found footage horror movie and does not deviate from that template. It does have an interesting historical backdrop that is briefly introduced at the beginning even though it has little relevance to the rest of the movie. In the end, it is an overly frantic load of people mostly just running around and eventually dying. And that is all there is to it so it is surprisingly boring.
