La Venexiana

I clearly remember this film. In the days of perestroika it was a big hit as it was the first erotic film screened in our country. As a teenager, I sneaked into to a summer cinema, where I, along with the packed audience, was looking forward to something special. Well, to tell you the truth, there wasn't much in the way of erotica. The main female character just shows her tits and that was it. But sometimes, even a little is enough, right? And yet, this film, which looks rather like a cheap episode of Red Shoe Diaries, drove crowds to the cinema during the communist days. The dam broke and the forbidden fruit tastes best. (20.04.2003)
