Filled with heart, humor, and wit, WAR ROOM follows Tony and Elizabeth Jordan, a couple who seemingly have it all - great jobs, a beautiful daughter, and their dream house. But appearances can be deceiving. Their world is actually crumbling under the strain of a failing marriage. While Tony basks in his professional success and flirts with temptation, Elizabeth resigns herself to increasing bitterness. But their lives take an unexpected turn when Elizabeth meets her newest client, Miss Clara, and is challenged to establish a "war room" and a battle plan of prayer for her family. I think that I uphold the same values as presented in the movie, but I definitely don't want them to be presented in such a foolish way, especially in connection with a belief that is so twisted it makes your head hurt. No, I simply cannot stand similar appeals to family values in relation to faith. God simply screws us, and unless we kick ourselves in the ass, nothing will change.
