It's not a great fairytale, but the story, although not original at first sight, is quite good for a fairytale and also somewhat mature. Thanks to the selected actors, "Královský slib" is sufficiently interesting and I don't think it would offend the viewer who watched it. It doesn't blow you away, but it holds up quite well.
