Schwarzesmarken

Schwarzesmarken is a prequel to the 2012 anime series Muv-Luv Alternative: Total Eclipse, which I have not seen, so I have nothing to compare it to. All I see is military and mecha in a pretty decent post-WWII alternative reality setting, lots of girls in tight jumpsuits, uninteresting aliens, and a rather interesting main male protagonist. However, the Beta monsters did not seem very exciting, and I am not really into mecha. The sight of developed female protagonists in tight outfits was not enough for me. So the only reason for me to watch this is to see what happens amid this supposedly fascist (though more like communist, we are in East Germany after all) regime. Well, I do not know if I can handle it, though, because the first episode put me to sleep quite a bit. So I am probably not going to go into it further; however, if I am wrong, let me know.
