Ajin: Demi-Human is not something I look forward to watching, although it is interesting and action-packed plot-wise. Even though I have gotten pretty used to the animation, it still seems just as weird. The characters are pretty much tolerable, although I only really liked the villain Mr. Sato, the genial old man in the flat cap hat. I liked him more than Izumi. There seems to be something very wrong when the best character in a show is the villain. Sato outwits the members of the special forces and is obviously smart and unpredictable and was therefore much more entertaining than the main male protagonist, his buddy, the other buddy who is grumbling away in juvenile detention somewhere, and even Mr. Tosaki, the investigator. However, I still watched the show and waited to see how it would turn out. The conclusion was as good as this whole anime series, even though it was nothing to write home about. It was slightly above average, 6.3/10.
