Kóblic

In the year of 1977, captain Tomas Kóblic is about to face the most agonizing crossroads in his life: he find himself in command of a "death flight" accompanied by other repressors and surrounded by half-naked men and women in a drugged stupor. Kóblic will take a decision that will change the rest of his life. Kóblic takes refuge in Colonia Helena, a lost village lying a few kilometers from the Atlantic cost. Soon, he is haunted by Police Chief Velarde, embroiled in a love affaire with Nancy, the wife a vulgar and amoral trader, and gets chased by the Navy and above all cornered by his own ghosts. Starring Argentina's mega stars Ricardo Darin and Oscar Martinez, winner of Best Actor Award in Venice Film Festival this year, Kóblic is a drama loaded with suspense and betrayal. It recounts the tragic course of a man that exiles into another inferno: a lost town of the vast Pampa that reflects the worst violence during the dictatorship in Argentina.
