Opisy(1)
Malcolm Lowry, hitherto the subject of at least 4 biographies, a film, and approximately 147 theses, is portrayed here in a form which goes slightly further than the biographical form. A very close examination is conducted on the mesmeric and terrifying journey through the nightmare of the writer of Under The Volcano. It looks at Lowry's psyche and follows him to four countries where he had made friends and enemies. People who knew him are interviewed and this intensifies the image of a writer who courted death with alcohol, until his body could not take it anymore.
