This thoroughbred 80s B-movie that never gets boring was a very pleasant surprise. The great make-up effects, the 80s atmosphere and the funny plot make Fright Night a film almost tailor-made to watch when you don’t want to be scared but entertained.

A sympathetic B-movie that doesn't take itself seriously, and thanks to its sense of humor, its flaws are digestible. Overall impression with regard to nostalgia: 70%.

An unlikeable main protagonist and slow pace are the main shortcomings of this otherwise really endearing movie. A special treat for Vincent Price...erm Peter Vincent fans. It is a little slow in the first half, but it gets going nicely in the second half. Relaxing entertainment by fans from fans.
