angielski This is an average sequel that took advantage of its predecessor's strengths and simply repeated them. The video game environment is initially replaced by the world inside the Internet (the phrase "It's new, it's different, and that's why we have to be afraid of it"). Although the official logos of a number of famous companies were contracted into it, the story was not allowed to take place in them, meaning that instead of YouTube and Google, the heroes visit fictional companies BuzzzTube and KnowsMore. With the exception of one excellent passage with Disney princesses (give them their own series, please) and a few references, there is surprisingly very little additional humor left to stand on its own, and the story also is very simple and sometimes unnecessarily overstretched. The inner workings of the Internet are portrayed relatively ingeniously, but otherwise the film doesn't have much imagination, which is also reflected in the sequence in which the heroes decide to make money by making a funny video, but instead lack creativity and copy the most popular trends instead of using their own original idea. On the other hand, there’s nothing bad to be said about the animation. ()

angielski The second adventure of Ralf is a nicely made audiovisual ride from beginning to end, with no shortage of action and humour. I really enjoyed the imaginative depiction of the Internet empire – the characters representing all sorts of functions, files and applications of the Internet were not to be missed. From time to time, they may have pushed a little too hard on the emotions and the lessons, but that is okay for a film like this. The film deserves a big plus point for the cast of Disney princesses. Even though I subconsciously knew how it would end, I was still entertained throughout the entire runtime, and the brutally funny post-credit scene is really worth the wait. A decently made sequel that pokes fun at the modern and hectic times dominated by internet technology in a very playful and funny way. ()

angielski The first episode was nice and nostalgic, but I wasn't that entertained, but the second one is a splashy audiovisual ride full of Easter Eggs in the style of Ready Player One. The story is very engaging, the humour is smart, the references are heartwarming, and there's an excellent car chase. I think they had more than enough creativity and didn't forget almost anything (I also praise the Dark Web and the virus). Great fun even for adults with a brilliant post-credit scene. 85% ()

angielski It really doesn’t matter that this is basically a massive product placement for Disney brands when the story holds together so well and, with the exception of the ending, avoids falling into shallow tricks with its inexhaustible fertile environment. It could have trashed even more internet domains and it’s a pity that the ending prefers a moral cliché over the further discovery of that world and its possibilities, but much of the film makes brilliant and original use of the possibilities offered by an alternative reality where people are voluntarily falling back into to meet each other, shop and make money, without neglecting to build a good story that clearly motivates the protagonists in the discovery of a new and unknown universe. On top of that, we get very entertaining car chases like out of GTA and the always great voice acting of John C. Reilly. 75% ()

angielski The dull and predictable story that the trailers prepared me for is thankfully saved by the humor and imaginative world in which it all takes place. As a result, I think Ralph Breaks the Internet is just as good as the first film and has similar weaknesses. If only the filmmakers had decided to spend (a lot) more time on the Disney part, which was absolutely everything...! ()
