angielski With the passing of years, the only interesting element in this television film is the participation of Jan Cimický, a well-known expert on drug addiction issues, as the author of the original book. The film was made at the beginning of the 90s, but it carries the recognizable signature of previous decades. It was created for educational purposes as a warning against drug addiction, with a sterile criminal plot and naive schematic characters. What affected it the most was the desperately non-artistic direction of Anna Procházková, which occasionally pushes the film to the brink of grotesque. Everything is highlighted by tasteless and unimpressive performances, with the honorable exception of Tomáš Juřička, whom I would believe in as a junkie without hesitation. Pre-November productions avoided drug issues for a long time and the only brighter exception was the film Spiderweb, which would struggle to stand its ground today, as time has taken its toll. Those who want to see dramatically well-executed drug-related material must look to Western cinema. Overall impression: 15% for its contemporary enlightenment. ()
